GENERAL REGULATION
All programmes begin with Course Work and end at Project for Postgraduate Diplomas or Dissertation and Thesis for Master and PhD degrees respectively. The duration of Degree/Diploma programmes are as follows:
Postgraduate Diploma programmes shall be of one year minimum and two years maximum duration. The minimum duration for the Diploma programme in Engineering is 4 semesters.
(ii) Master Degree programmes shall normally be of 4 semesters. The duration shall not normally exceed 6 semesters for full-time.
(iii) Doctorate Degree programmes shall normally be of three years minimum duration for full-time.
(iv) Applicants must request their previous institutions to forward their Academic Transcripts to the email cpgstranscript@tsuniversity.edu.ng. The transcript should be generated, stamped and addressed to

This document should also to be uploaded via the link provided on the online application form (Transcripts to be accompanied with transcript request forms which should be printed on the portal).
(v) Note that only official transcripts received from candidate's previous institution will be accepted. (Transcript Request Form MUST be forwarded to your institution).

METHOD OF APPLICATION
i. Applications are available only on the online platform. Applicants are to visit the Taraba State University website https://application.tsuniversity.edu.ng/register.php and complete a pre-application information and make a non-refundable application fee of payment of N20,300. Once successful payment is made, kindly proceed to complete your application to upload academic credentials and other relevant documents and submit on-line.
ii. Please, print a hard copy of the completed form for reference purposes.
iii. Applicants are to ensure that the on-line reference forms are completed by the three referees and sent to the College of Postgraduate Studies on cpgstranscript@tsuniversity.edu.ng
Please note that applications without relevant documents uploaded will not be considered. The number of applicants to be admitted will be based on the manpower capacity of the programme.

Please note that,
  • ⁠Applicants are required to provide all information sought in the online form.
  • ⁠⁠Applications with incomplete information shall be treated as void
  • ⁠⁠Proposed course of study including area of specialization if any should be clearly stated.
  • ⁠⁠Applicants should ensure that their official transcripts of academic records are forwarded to the Postgraduate College by their former universities using the Transcripts Request Form.
  • ⁠⁠Applications without official transcripts of academic records forwarded online shall not be processed.
  • ⁠⁠A candidate can apply for admission to only one Degree/Diploma programme at any given time.
  • ⁠⁠The application costs twenty thousand, three hundred naira (N20,300) only.
  • ⁠⁠The online application will commence on the 28th January, 2025.
  • Screening Test for only Shortlisted candidates shall be on 28th March, 2025
Closing Date:
The closing date of application is 30 days from the date of the commencement of sales of forms after which the application shall attract an additional fee of five thousand (N5,000.00) naira.
